New York Interschool is a consortium of eight Manhattan independent schools known for their high academic standards, outstanding teaching, and traditions of quality.

We run curricular and extracurricular programs that serve students, teachers, administrators, trustees, and parents, linking our schools to the greater New York City community.

Every January, the Browning Form IV boys along with students from the other single-sex schools in New York, Brearley, Chapin, Collegiate, Nightingale and Spence, make the trek upstate to the Frost Valley YMCA camp to discuss issues surrounding their shared identity as high schoolers and New Yorkers. Learn more about the program and the crucial role that Form VI peer leaders play in these discussions.
