NY Interschool Helps Supply Frontline Medical Teams with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Interschool’s campaign to help supply New York City’s frontline medical teams with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) continues to grow thanks to many families in our schools.

A huge shout out to Dr. Theodore Schwartz (Dalton ’83) and James Solomon (Collegiate ‘83) for continuing to coordinate donations to area hospitals in need.

And a special thank you to Spence Parent and Alum, Dr. Suzanne Lamm Roberts, (Spence ’98, P ’27,’32) for helping us get PPE to the staff at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and to Dalton parent Melissa Beyer, (P’26) for her extremely creative donation.

Melissa, a sculptor, worked with her family to create hundreds of protective masks on their 3D printer.

Dr. Lamm, a pediatric emergency medicine physician on the front lines at Jacobi helped us distribute the masks and other gear donated through our Interschool PPE Drive.

Thanks to dozens of families across Interschool, we have contributed hundreds of masks and gloves, as well as protective body suits, covers and safety goggles to front line medical workers across the city.
